Then they headed down town to the National Portrait Gallery. They looked at lots of amazing art exhibits and portraits of many famous and not famous people. Their favorites were President and First Lady Obama. They were pretty spectacular!
They said that the building was beautiful and they can't wait to take us to see the museum too. Even when we're not with them they're still always thinking of us!
Some of the paintings were so detailed and brilliant. And the exhibits were so interesting and fun!
Later Nana and Papi came over to watch us and have dinner with us while Mama and Daddy went to Back To School Night at our school. They visited my class and Kai's class. I had things hanging on the walls for Daddy and Mama to check out. They really enjoyed visiting both our classes and talking to our teachers.
Later, Daddy got our lunches ready for tomorrow. He sure is a good Daddy!
