Today after school we headed to Target to exchange some of my birthday presents. I got to get something new instead of a game that I already have. I was so excited about that. When we got home it was time to get down to homework. Daddy helped Kai do his while Mama helped Finn.

                                     

After homework I got to work on my America's Test Kitchen Kids recipe. I got to put all the ingredients together for Cherry, Almond, Chocolate Chip Granola. It was so fun putting everything together and baking it.

                                     

                                    

Then we made some Zuppa Toscana for dinner in the Instant Pot. We had that with rolls and a salad and boy was it good!

                                    

We got to see some of our deer family that has been hanging out in our back yard playing and nibbling in the front yard. Those deer sure do seem like they're everywhere!



                                     

When the granola came out of the oven it smelled so good. It was toasty and warm. Once it was cooled down I got to break it up with a knife, put it in a bowl and add the cherries and chocolate chips. It was delicious, super easy and a keeper! Mama said she liked it a lot and she said it didn't even need the cherries or chocolate chips. I loved it!



                                     




This is how Mama found us later when we were supposed to be asleep. We were busy playing nicely on the floor of our room. And pretending we were asleep when mama came in to tell us to get in bed! It sure is nice to have such great brothers and that we all love to hang out and play together!
