When mama picked us up from school it was a lovely afternoon outside. So Mama let us play on the playground for a little bit before we headed home to change our clothes and go on an adventure!
We went to pick Daddy up at work and then headed to the Wharf!!! It was such a beautiful evening. It felt like being at the beach with a sunny, warm breeze!
Our first stop was the fish market! We love checking out all the goodies and yummy fish and shellfish!
The man at Capt White's let me hold some crabs!! I was nervous but I did a good job and I didn't get pinched!
I picked out fresh bay scallops. Mama and I are going to cook them for dinner together tomorrow! We also got some yummy crabs to take home! They were really big and really cheap! We waited while they steamed them.
Then Daddy and Mama cracked some crab claws for us. They were SOOOO good! The meat is so sweet and we just loved nibbling on those crabs!
Then we did a little walk through of the new Italian Market. They had some good looking meat in their aging fridge.
Then we headed to District Doughnut! We got a pumpkin glazed, a brown butter and a funfetti donut. Then the owner gave Daddy an everything bagel with cream cheese donut. It was a savory donut and it was by far ALL of our favorite. It was SO GOOD! We can't wait to have another one of those soon. Oh, and the others too...
Then we headed up to the outdoor deck to watch the sunset, have a drink and chill for a bit and enjoy each others company. It was pretty awesome!
We caught some awesome skies and some really cool planes taking off!
Then it was time to play on the giant swings! We love those things! Then it was time to head home to nibble on a little bit more crab meat before getting ourselves ready for tomorrow. It sure was a pretty special evening!
