Mama helped get the school hall ready for our big Thanksgiving Feast
Then it was time to get the Kindergarten Native Americans and the 1st grade Pilgrims ready to head down to the feast with Chief Spiritual Leader or as I know him, Daddy!
We were excited because Mama let us and some of our other friends who have little siblings, come down to the feast to watch the performances and hang out for a bit!
Then the kids came in and they looked so cute and festive!
They sang songs and did a really great job! We loved watching and reminiscing about when we performed in the Feast!
Then Monsignor blessed the event and the real Feast began. My brothers went back to class and the parents served us our traditional meal. We had turkey and corn and mashed potatoes and corn bread...it was so great. And the teachers loved it too!
It was a really special day and I was so excited. So were all my friends!
Later we headed to the Pub with Miss Alyssa and her mom and Michael J. It sure was crowded but we got a great table and had a great meal with friends before they head out on a trip for Thanksgiving. We saw lots of neighbors and friends at the Pub. It was a great night and a fun way to start our break from school.
