This chilly morning started with my 9 o'clock baseball game at St. B's. Thank goodness the sun was shining because it was quite cold in the shade!
I got to do some pitching and we all had a lot of fun, which is very important because we sure didn't play very well. Or at least not as well as our opponents!
Then Daddy and I headed to my baseball game. Also at St. B's. Daddy forgot to take pictures but he did get this video of one of my at bats.
I got right back into it and I remembered more than I forgot! And I get to take class with one of my best buddies, Conall!
It was fun to fence with each other. It was also really tiring and hot in those masks. But we had a great time getting back into it!
Then it was time for the Mother Son Dance festivities! First we took a picture with Mama alone.
Then we took a picture with Eli and Conall who were joining us sans Mothers for now! We love our bonus brothers!
We all headed to the Doherty's house for the pre-party. It was a really nice evening and they had lots of yummy food for everyone. It was great!
All the boys hung outside to eat and then we all ran around and played while the moms had some wine and chatted before going to the dance.
Then we took some group photos before heading to the dance!
And Eli and I got to go to our classmate Tate's house for the 5th grade pre-party for a little while. That was super fun too and so fun to hang with our classmates instead of those stinky 7th graders...
Once we got to the dance the fun was in full swing! We saw all of our friends, ran around, danced and just had a blast! We can't believe it's been 3 years since we've had a real Mother/Son dance at our school!
Everyone got in to the action! Of course Conall was one of the first out on the dance floor. But we all got our groove on and it was a blast!
It was a great night of family, friends and fun! What a crazy weekend full of action and great times!
Oh and GLOW STICKS!!!!
And Mama was so happy to dance with all her boys! It was a perfect night!
