This morning Mama went out to get coffee for her and Daddy and encountered this loud dude! They are EVERYWHERE! The funny thing is we've seen tons of roosters and chickens but not many cats, much to Mama's delight!
We saw this little guy on the way to the boat...lizards are everywhere too!
We got to the docks early and got to explore a little. It was such an amazing, beautiful, warm and sunny day here. Sadly at home it's sleeting and snowing and a wintry mix. Boo! We don't miss that right now!
Daddy and Mama got their first Cuban Queen Coffee's. They loved it!
Then it was time to board the Sun Watersports boat! We were really excited!
It was a gorgeous day! Just perfect out!
That's a little house/tent on the water that you can actually sleep in! WOW!
The water was so clear and we were on the hunt to see some dolphins! Where are they hiding?
We didn't see the elusive dolphin so we decided to go snorkeling first! We were really excited!
We had so much fun snorkeling. We saw lots of fish, lobsters and sea urchin! It was so clear down there! We didn't take any photos under water but we have lots of good memories of our experience!
Then it was time to get back on the boat and go back to looking for dolphin! We were ready for the challenge!
We decided to go to the upper deck to get a better view! It was awesome!
And we had all the soft drinks and beer we wanted! And snacks that Mama brought of course!
And of course we just had a ton of fun running around and playing on the boat!
And our hair got crazy from all the wind on the boat! It was hilarious!
And then we finally saw some dolphin playing and breaching the water!! We were so excited to see them!
It was a perfect day and one of the best boat trips we've taken. We loved it and would totally do it again if we come back to Key West. It also didn't hurt that it was a kick ass all girl crew and one of them was from Maryland!!
When we got home we decided to take a dip in the pool! It sure was crowded today but it was fun and we had lots of friends to play with...and believe it or not, one family was ALSO from Maryland and went to highschool with some of Mama's friends!!! What a small world!
For dinner we decided to take a walk over to Mr. Z's for a slice. WOW, do they have good pizza!
Now THAT was a good choice! A nice, easy, simple, delicious dinner!
Then we grabbed a quick scoop at a Maryland based store! As we headed home via Duvall Street. Another great day in Key West!
