It was a really rainy, stormy night last night so this morning was a little cooler than it has been, but still a little muddy for a park play date. So, we went to the next best place! The Takoma Park splash pad playground. And it may have been cooler out than it has been but it was till pretty hot and muggy out in that sun! We were very thankful for that water!

Then we logged some good time on the play equipment. We ran around, we jumped off of things, we hid inside things, we went down slides and climbed up tree houses and had lots of fun with our friends Leighton and Elise. It was a super fun and hot play date!

Then we met Grandma and Granddaddy at Ema's old house to pick up the organ that we're taking home. When they brought it to our house Grandma came upstairs to play with us for a little while. I love showing Grandma my games. It's a good thing she always pretends to be interested!

Later our MeMa and PopPop came over to join us for a Chinese food dinner. They even brought us delicious dessert from Raulins bakery. YUM!! And we were so happy to see them. It's always a good day when you get to see more than one set of Grandparents!!

And Jax fell asleep on the couch right before we had dinner. He said, "I DON"T WANT EAT NOTHING!!!!" and so he ate nothing...

I woke up around 8:30 and guess what? I was starving and ate the majority of the "left overs". It's a good thing there was food for me because I tore it up. Maybe next time I'll get to spend more time with MeMa and PopPop. Now it's time to stay up all night bouncing off the walls...
