Then Mama got us all packed up, Got the car ready to go and we hit the road. First stop, Dunkin Donuts for a treat to get us trough our road trip to the beach!!
When we got to Ocean City Mama got us some lunch at McDonald's and we got to eat while she unpacked the car. Then we got our suits and sun screen on and headed down to the beach to meet up with our family. We saw Andrea and her roommate and mom, Aunt Joan and Uncle Glenn and of course our Grandma and Granddaddy! We were so excited to see them!
Then there was a storm on the beach and the lifeguard made everyone get out of the water. We heard lots of thunder and even saw some lightening. So we headed back home and jumped in the pool! It was so warm and so crowded. Everyone must have left the beach and come back to our pool.
Then we hopped out of the pool and off to Ropewalk for our "happy hour"!
We played and ran around. We had special drinks, we had some dinner and had lots of fun...
Afterward we were so tired since no one took naps today. Mama walked home with us while Grandma and Granddaddy did the traditional walk to Lombardi's when they were done at Ropewalk! We got to check out the beginnings of a great sunset and had to check every storm drain the whole way home to see if there were any dead horseshoe crabs in them...yuck!
When we got home Mama went to unpack our clothes and when she came back downstairs she found Jax passed out...on his iPad! That was one sleepy dude! Grandma and Granddaddy came home and they brought PIZZA!!! It was delicious and just a perfect mid-evening snack! The only thing that would have made it better is if Daddy was here to enjoy it with us!
