We started our morning off at our favorite place...Reading Market! And even more exciting for us, the Amish donut stand was open for business. And boy were they open! We got to see some of the donuts being made and iced. The selection was so amazing we just couldn't decide!! But, Mama made us limit it! So, Jax and Finn chose the most disgusting options they had (fruity pebbles, vanilla sprinkle and m&m) and I chose Boston Cream and Mama chose the winner...Banana Cream! That one was by far the best! But they had some that just looked amazing like strawberry filled, salted caramel, coconut cream, the Elvis special (it had bacon on top with a peanut butter and banana filling!), peanut butter and jelly, chocolate peanut butter, and on and on...

And of course we had to do our favorite thing...check out the lobsters and the fish market. We wish we could take all of it home with us. It's a good thing we don't live at the Hilton Garden Inn. The Reading Market could be bad for our waist lines. But boy is it an amazing place!

Then we got on the road to the Please Touch Museum. That building looked like it was blending into the sky. It was pretty cool. There is some pretty neat architecture in Philadelphia. And it's really easy to get around this city. We're having a great time here!

We arrived at the museum and we were so excited to be able to touch EVERYTHING! Mama promised that nothing was off limits and boy was she right! This place was just what we were looking for today on this extra hot day. It was amazing!

We fixed cars, we drove buses, we built things, we became astronauts, we hung out with Curious George, we sold Rita's Italian Ice, we traveled to space, we shot rockets...

...We rode elephants, we built forts, we rode a tortoise, we painted the roses red (a la Alice in Wonderland - Mama had to explain that to us but now we're excited to see the movie!), we went through a maze, we rode in an ambulance, we went to the children's hospital, we went grocery shopping and worked in the grocery store....

...We had a tea party, we checked out the huge statue, we hopped on lilly pads, we played with water, we checked out the museum store, we had an AWESOME time!!! It was such a fun adventure. We can't wait to go back again! And we don't know how we got so lucky but it really wasn't very crowded. It was a great day! And even better, it was time to go meet Daddy!

We met Daddy at the hotel room and then headed out to get a bite to eat at...our favorite place!! The Reading Market. This time we got to get some fried chicken from the soul food counter, some roasted pork, some fried rice, some pork ribs and low mein noodles. And then, we went back to the donut counter to take a few home for tomorrow. This time we chose a little more wisely and got some really good ones for the road!  It would really be hard to find anything bad here. We loved all the different food, the options and just the atmosphere made us happy. It was so neat to look around at all the different ethnic foods and options. It was a great experience and we're so glad we got to check it out with Daddy this time!

We weren't too happy about it but it was time to get in the car and head home. We begged Mama to stay one more night but Daddy had to work until midnight tonight so Mama said it just didn't make sense for us to hang out alone for another night. Plus, our Lucy really misses us! So, we agreed and decided it was time to head home...

It wasn't long until this happened. I was the only one awake for the majority of our short trip. It took us no time to get home. And we were able to head to Nana and Papi's house to pick up Lucy. She was so happy to see us and her cuts looked amazing! She was so much better. That Nana took such good care of her! We were all happy to take her home with us and we were happy to see Nana and Papi too! Then it was home to relax and unpack after being away. We loved our adventure in Philadelphia. We loved hanging out with our cousins and Daddy and exploring the city. And we're also happy to be home sweet home!
