This morning we woke up leisurely, had some breakfast and then headed to Rose's for a few things. And of course a toy, because we don't have many toys...Then Grandma took us to the pool while Mama packed and cleaned up. When we got there it was pretty empty! We were the only people in the pool!



                  



Before we knew it, the pool was packed! I guess people were heading to the pool from the beach. We played with friends and with each other. We played with toys then we had lunch at the pool. Then Mama finally got everything packed up!

                 





We were like little sardines smooshed in there with all the bags and stuff! We sure didn't pack light. that's the beauty of traveling by car I suppose! And we were all happy as little clams!

                  

Then we made a stop at Aunt Lisa's friend's store, Angello's Unique Gifts, in Salisbury to check it out. Mama bought a super cool, super big beach bag. We had to wait while they monogrammed it but the girl messed up 3 bags before Mama decided we should probably just take one without a monogram...The nice girl that worked there gave us crayons and paper so we could color on the floor and be occupied (so we wouldn't break anything). Then Grandma bought a gift for a friend. And we finally got out of there and back on the road toward home!

                 

                 

                 

                 

               

Then we got to Grandma's house. We got to see Granddaddy. He was mowing the lawn. Then we got to check out the shed and the new walk way. It looked great! We were so sad to come home from the beach, we had such a great time! We want to stay there all the time. And we were even sadder to drop Grandma off at home. We want her to come have a sleep over at our house. But we had to go see our Lucy and sometimes its good to be home sweet home!

                 

                 

                 

When we got to our neighborhood we got to see all the damage from the storm we missed. This poor house had a huge tree fall on it. The poor neighbors that live there had to move out until the house can be fixed. It's very sad. We noticed a really big limb fell in our back yard but Mama has to check it out tomorrow in better light. As long as those trees don't fall toward our house then we're okay!

                  

                

                 

                 

Our garden sure was growing while we were away. We FINALLY have a watermelon on the vine too. Last year we had at least 5 growing by this point. Let's hope this little guy survives!





Then we picked up Lucy and we ran over to Nana and Papi's house for a pizza dinner! It was yummy and nice not to have to think about what we were making for dinner when we got home from our trip!  It was really good to see them. We sure did miss them and we think they might have missed us a little too! It was a good night but we had to head home, take showers and get all snuggled up in our pjs so we could get a good night's sleep in our beds! Here's to another wonderful week at the beach with our Grandma!
