We had so much fun running around outside. And boy is it good to have brothers. We (reluctantly) took turns hitting the baseball as Grandma pitched to us. Then we had a group wrestle/hug. There was no crying...yet...
Then we headed inside. Jax wanted some Lemmolade and I decided to work on my Summer Bridge Activities book. Mama said I did a great job on the pages I worked on.
I made a super tower! Then we had some lunch, did some more playing outside, did some playing in the basement and even got to see Granddaddy for a little while before we headed home!
For dinner Mama grilled a pork tenderloin and some carrots. We also had some tomato, cucumber salad and rice. It was the perfect "last supper" for Daddy before he heads out on his trip to the political conventions for the next 3 weeks! We all loved dinner but we sure are going to miss Daddy! Three weeks is a long time to be away from each other.
Then Kai and I watched the bunnies in Ron and Carol's yard playing! They better not come near our garden!!
Then we took Lucy on a family walk. We, of course, took our swords in case we ran into any danger...
Like a rogue sprinkler that we just HAD to run through...
Then we checked out the damage on the path from the storm we had a week or so ago. I guess no one has cleaned it up yet!
We watched a little American Ninja Warrior . Then we took a nice shower with Daddy and then read books before heading to bed. It's been a great day!
