Then we headed for the beach for the second half of the day. And I became the new crab catching champion!! Mama and I headed out into the water. It was so super clear and we could see for miles. We could see baby sand sharks swimming around and shells in the sand below the surface. I grabbed my trusty net and caught 6 hermit crabs! All in very different and beautiful shells and all different sizes. It was great and I was really proud of myself!
Then we invited Kai out to help us hunt. He found some cool shells but no crabs for him today. Mama caught one and so did Colby so my count was up to 8!
We had fun relaxing in the waves after doing some serious reading under the umbrella. Nothing better than a good book on the beach! Then Finn and Colby played some paddle baseball before we headed up to Pinchers.
But first Finn and I had to go release all the crabs back into the water. Mama said we couldn't keep them...
Colby and I were fancy tonight! I got a strawberry daiquiri and Colby got a pina colada! No alcohol, of course!
Then Jax and I did some swimming with Daddy! That Jax sure has become quite the swimmer! Pretty soon he and I are going to be having some races in the pool. I can't wait. Now all we need is for Finn to do some practicing so he can be a strong swimmer too!
After the pool we headed out to the beach to do some more paddle baseball and more playing. We even spotted a really nice yacht out in the Gulf!
It was another beautiful, perfect beach day in Florida! We wish we could stay here forever!
