Today was slated to be a near perfect day outside. Sunny, warm and spring like. So, Mama and I decided that we needed to go pick up my brothers and have a hooky day! I was so excited to go get my brothers from school. I couldn't wait!

                                 

                                 

Kai and Finn were so happy to see us when we got there. We got Kai from his class and had to go out to recess to get Finn. But they sure seemed happy to see us! Out first destination on this fine hooky day was Kenwood to have a picnic among the cherry blossoms. We were SO excited. We love picnics. And it wasn't super crowded so it was perfect. We ate, we ran around we played, I worked on my tan a little bit. It was so nice and warm and sunny! There wasn't a cloud in the sky and a nice, warm breeze was blowing. We did some exploring. We checked out the trees and the little creek. We had some races and climbed on the big rocks in the circle. Then it was off to Washington, D.C. to see Daddy at work! We love going to the Capitol and since I was just here last week I'm like an expert. It's always fun to check out the view from Statuary Hall and then from Daddy's office on the balcony! We did some exploring and went to the television studios. Then we took the tram over to the other side of the capitol and to Daddy's gym!

                                  






It was so fun to meet Daddy's friends that work at the gym finally! We loved going to the locker room with Daddy to get changed and ready for some fun in DC!



We made our way to Eastern Market and did a little walking around. They had some good looking produce and fish and we even saw some trotters!!! We wanted a little bit of everything.

                                  

                                   

                                   

Then we went across the street for a little happy hour at the Tunni Cliff's Tavern. It was so yummy and so much fun!



                                  

Then it was back to Eastern Market for some ice cream to cap off a near perfect day!





Later we called Grandma after our shower to tell her all about our day. She liked talking to us!

                                              

                                             


                                             

Then Daddy and I played a little Splattoons before heading to bed. It was a great day!
