This morning was a really early start for us! It was still dark outside when we had to pack up and head out. We sure were sad to leave beautiful Florida and our Grandma and Granddaddy and family.
We got to the airport in a good amount of time and it's a good thing because we were hungry! We went to Shula's where I had french toast, Finn had a monster fruit plate that was kind of amazing and Jax had...bacon!
Once we got through security we got to chill out with our iPads and kindles until our airplane arrived. Then it was time to board the plane to head home...
Daddy and I lucked out because no one came to sit in our row. I got to play with my guys and watch a movie and eat snacks. It was a great flight!
We landed to a cloudy, rainy and chilly day in Maryland. Boo! I guess it can't be sunny and 80 degrees every day. But we wouldn't complain if it was!
Then we had to wait for Daddy to go get the car. Mama lined us up on the curb in our chairs and told us not to move. We cooperated...mostly!
Later we ate some dinner, we got hair cuts and showers, got on pjs and snuggled up in Mama and Daddy's bed to watch the movie Monster Trucks!
We asked Mama and daddy where our Lucy was. We were sad not to see her when we got home. They had to tell us some disappointing news. While we were in Florida our Lucy went to heaven. We can't believe our sweet girl who's been here our whole lives won't be here anymore. We're going to miss seeing her and snuggling with her and her protection while we're out in the front yard or if someone comes to our front door. We're going to miss sharing our dinner with her and taking walks with her. Finn isn't going to know what to do with all the room in his bed without Lucy sleeping with him. We sure are going to miss that girl more than we know! Rest easy our Lucy girl!
