Then we made a stop at the Art League and had a look around. We really think the Vallina's enjoyed checking out all of the beautiful art work! And seeing where some of the artists do their work. It's such a cool place. We love it there!
This is a painting of one of Mama's favorite sites in Ocean City! The Flamingo Motel. Old school and such a cool landmark!
When we got home we all got our bathing suits on and then Kai read us all some Garfield comics. It was super funny. He made funny voices and had us all giggling!
Then we got packed up and hit the beach! The beach was really long and flat again today. The water was less rough up close but there were some huge waves breaking far out today. The tides are a wonder!
But the water was warm and so much fun. Joseph and Sylvia and Mrs. Vallina were having SO much fun! We sat in the water forever just playing and splashing and building castles. Kai swam way out beyond the big waves breaking. But Mama made him come out when he kept getting swept further and further down the beach but was unable to swim parallel to get himself back to where we were. That current was no joke today but Kai is a pro and he rode the waves in to walk himself back and then he just hung with us in the shallows.
And then I crashed out hard in my chair! Thankfully Mama laid me down so I could be comfortable but I must have been one sleepy monkey to just fall out like that! Being at the beach and entertaining guests gets pretty exhausting for a 5 year old!
Mama just chilled out in the shade while Jax slept, I read and the others splashed and played. It was a pretty perfect day out at the beach. Not a cloud in the sky, a nice breeze and the perfect, low humidity temperate! Ahhh
When I woke up I had a snack and then I hit the waves with the other kids. Finn was the little fish today. He was in the water ALL DAY LONG with Joseph! Those two will sleep well tonight!
I had such a great time at the beach. The water was warm and it was fun to play with my buddy Joseph all day. And my friend Joseph and his sister Sylvia were loving it! They really enjoyed playing in the ocean. I'm sad that he'll be going home tomorrow!
After so much beach and ocean time we headed back to the house and all promptly jumped into the pool! The water felt great and it was nice to get some of the saltiness off our skin. We had a nice little swim before it was time to go back and clean up for dinner
We decided to go to Blue Fish for some sushi and chinese food. It was so fresh and delicious! We were all so hungry from spending so much time out in the sun and surf today. This really hit the spot!
After dinner we did a quick Roses stop and even got some ice cream there! Then we headed home to check our crab trap. Sadly we had nothing inside but we did see a little baby crab swimming in the bay. The tide was super high tonight! It was awesome to check out and it was good to call it a night. We were beat from all of the fun we've been having!
