And low and behold, Kai was the first one on the vessel to catch the first fish of the day! After battling all the little crabs eating or bait, Kai got the first little flounder. It was too little to keep but he did win the $5 prize for the first fish of the day!
Then the rest of us tried our hand at getting the big one! And Finn was next! He caught a puffer fish!! It was SO COOL! I really hope I get the next one...
Sadly, after eating lunch and doing some fishing, Jax fell fast asleep on a bench on the boat! Everyone was very impressed with his ability to sleep right there on that bench!! So the rest of us just kept fishing. None of us caught anything big enough to bring home. That was a bummer but we still had a great time and we're planning to go out again the next time we're in Ocean City. It was kind of awesome!
Then we went to have some Mexican food for dinner...
...before heading to the board walk for a little bit of fun!
We just had to hit the whack a mole game so Kai and Jax could try their hand at winning a prize!
Then Daddy, Finn, Jax and Mama all went on the Haunted House ride. They're crazy! I sat on the bench and just watched those fools go on that scary ride. There was no way I was going. And I was glad I didn't when they all came out spooked!
We got some soft serve and Daddy got a milk shake. Then we just enjoyed some of the sights of the boards. We sure love all the sights and smells of the Ocean City board walk. We're gonna miss it until we come back next time at the end of the summer. We can't wait!
