Today was another beautiful, hot and toasty beach day! Unfortunately the water was super rough and the waves were huge and relentless but that didn't stop Kai from getting in. That Kai is a true pro in the ocean. He is a great swimmer and he always looks back to check where Mama and Daddy Are and he's really good at navigating the waves. I hope we can all swim like that some day!

                                     

                                     

Finn and I did some digging and playing in the sand while Kai swam. Then Daddy got in and braved the waves with Kai!
                                  
                                     



                                     

                                     

Then we all helped dig a trench to keep the high tide from getting to our chairs and blanket. It worked!



                                     





                                     

Then our buddy Blaze and his mom arrived and we all got in the water together but it was really rough and we didn't last too long. Daddy said it was too hard to hold me up and we did get pummeled by a few waves. But that Kai just stayed in and did great!
            
                                     

                                    

                                     

                                    

Then Blaze and Finn dug some pools. I dug one too for my monster trucks, It was perfect for the high tide. The water would come up and fill up our pools. Then our neighbors, Mama and Daddy's friends Brian and Dawn, came by our spot and hung out with us for a while. Miss Dawn even helped me build some sand castles!





                                     




Then Mama took us up to the Princess pool while Daddy packed us up to head home from the beach. It was a nice, long beach day and we were all beat!

                                     




Then we headed to the Crabcake Factory for dinner. It was fun and super yummy and a perfect chill night!
