We got there and set up with our cousins Brian and Laura, Carter and Westin. It was fun hanging with them for a little while. The water was so warm and so calm that we all went in. Even Mama spent lots of time out in the water with us!!
Then the Scopes guy came along to take our pictures.
Then Cousin Michael and Leanne and Thalia and Finn and their friends showed up. We were glad because cousin Michael helped us to build a massive fort to have a battle with our Army guys!
Daddy got my pirate ships out and I even got to add them to the mix. It was awesome. You should have seen all the people walking by to check out our creation. It was pretty impressive!
After our super long beach day we headed back to the house and just had to jump in the pool for a bit. It was like jumping in the bathtub! But it was so much fun! We played with Blaze a bit and then it was time to take a shower and head to Kirby's for dinner.
But first I had to call Papi to see how he is feeling. He's been having a really bad backache but I was happy to hear that he feels a little better today but still not 100%. Poor Papi! We hope he's better soon!
Then we walked up to Kirbys. It sure was humid out but it was a lovely evening none the less!
It took forever to come but when it did, the food was delicious! Seafood club wrap and BLT and French Dip and chicken nachos! So much yummy stuff. We were so excited to eat and we all did a pretty good job eating it all up. Man, we love Kirby's. Great first night at the beach. We can't wait to see what other adventures this week has in store!
