But there was plenty of digging and building and playing baseball on the beach. It was a fun day even if the waves were 7 feet tall and impossible to get into the water!
Then Aunt Jen, Uncle Jon and Colby had to hit the road back home. We were sad to see them go! We hung out with Daddy and Mama for the rest of the afternoon then we headed back to the pool for a bit.
The water was much chillier than it's been but we still managed to log a little time in the water.
We were enjoying spending time with Daddy before he had to head home too. We are sure going to miss him. We wish he didn't have to go!
Mama went to get us a real crab trap today at ACE Hardware. We were so excited. We put some bait in it and we tied it up and thew it off our dock. Jax and I got to carry it over. We have no pictures of Mama throwing it in because Mama is the picture taker and she wasn't going to take her camera onto the dock in case it fell in...We're so excited! We can't wait to check it in the morning.
After throwing our crab trap in the bay we went for an early dinner with Daddy at Lombardi's!! YUM We had the best pizza and ravioli and salad! Then it was time for Daddy to hit the road and we were super bummed about that! I think he was too. The beach just isn't the same without Daddy!
After dinner Mama took us on a quest to find caramel apples. The first two stops were a bust. Thankfully our last stop was Dolly's and they sure had them! Look at those monsters. We tried to eat them there but we almost lost all of our teeth so we took them home and Mama sliced them up for us to eat. They were awesome! And probably the last time we get those. Some things only take trying once. This is probably one of them...
