This morning was Kindergarten Orientation! We all had to get up early today. Well, earlier than we've had to get up almost all Summer. That was tough but we made it. I was really excited to explore my new classroom and hang out with Mrs. Zagone and I even got to go out to play on the playground with all my new Kindergarten friends!

                                     

                                     



                                     

The big boys and lots of older siblings got to hang in the hallway and look at electronics while the little kids got oriented.



Next I got to go meet Mrs. Smith and check out my classroom. I got a private tour since none of the other kids were here yet! I saw my desk and the hook to hang my backpack and lunch box. I'm really excited to sit by my best buddy Stephen and right next to my friend Maira!

                                     

                                      

Then I got to go check out the 4th grade classroom and meet Mrs. Calise. The room was a little bare but I liked the big kid desks we'll have and I got to drop off my supplies. I think it's going to be a good year. At least that's what Daddy and Mama keep telling me...

                                     

Then we made a surprise visit to see Nana and Charlie! We got to hang out and see Nana's new standing desk in her office! Then we checked out the garden before heading to WalMart for back to school food shopping!! Cant have school sandwiches if we don't have bread.





                                      

We had fun at Wal Mart. Mostly because we got to run around and play. And we got to help Mama pick out some of the snacks we'd like to have in our lunches. We also got lots of fruits and veggies! Since Wednesday is a half day we only have to take a snack to school, not a full lunch. Then my brothers turned into SHARKS!! They kept attacking me and I tried to get away! Thankfully they turned back into brothers and all was right in the world again!! Pheww

                                      

                                      

                                     

Then it was off to get a car wash! We sure love our car washes. And Mama also wanted to snap a shot of us running errands with her. It will probably be a while before we're all forced to run errands with Mama again. Now that school's starting the back of that car will be pretty empty. Until Snack Shack shopping starts that is!





Then we did some playing in our nice, clean room while Kai completed his writing summaries for his summer homework/reading project. He wasn't thrilled to do it but he didn't complain and Mama was really proud of him because he did a really good job!

                                      

                                     

And thenI fell asleep around 6:45pm and I couldn't wake up. I was down for the count for the rest of the night. If Kindergarten orientation kicks my butt I can only imagine what a full day of school's going to do. Mama see's naps coming back into our routine!
