Today we packed up and hit the road to Three Otters Eco Retreat in Great Cacapon, West Virginia! 

 

When we got there we checked into our digs for the weekend. The same pop up camper that we stayed in before so we knew exactly what we were getting in to! Thankfully it is just the right size for our family and fits us all perfectly!

   

   

As soon as we dropped our things we got on our suits and headed down to the river! The tide was super low and the current was moving pretty slowly so it was perfect for splashing around!

                            

Some of our other neighbors and schoolmates were already there exploring, kayaking and playing with their dogs!

   

And then our friend Hunter arrived and we all played together too. It was so much fun!

   

                              

                             

   

   

                             

                             

                             

I got to do some kayaking! I love it out there and the water was easy to maneuver this time. It wasn't moving very fast and it was just pure fun!

                             

                              

                              

   

It was a beautiful, warm evening and Mama got some great pictures of us all frolicking!

                             

                              

                               

                            

                            

                              

                             

                           

Later we got up to shore and dried off. Daddy and Mr. Dewey were in charge of grilling our dinner! Tonight we were having burgers, hot dogs, kielbasa, potato salad, caesar salad, chips and condiments. We had a ton of food and it was all great!

                             

   

We played some corn hole and slap ball and ran around out in the field.

   

Then Mr. Ott got the fire started so that the s'mores making could commence for dessert!

   

                             

S'mores brings everyone together! The little kids and the big kids all came to roast their marshmallows!

                            

                            

                             

                            

                            

It was so much fun and the s'mores were PERFECTION!

                            

                             

                            

Some of us had more than our share! Hey, you only live once!

                            

Later we headed back to the camper to settle in for the night. It was comfy and cozy...once Daddy removed the rather large wolf spider from inside...then we could sleep. And sleep we did. We were some comfortable, sleepy boys!
