Today was a beautiful day and we were off to Mear's Marina to hang with the Filburns!
We had lunch from the Fat Crab, we swam in the pool, we read some books, we chilled. It was a gorgeous day!
Then we decided to go for a boat ride! Everyone was getting ready for the 4th of July!
We saw a family of ducks crossing the bay. They were adorable!
Then we sat back and relaxed as we headed to the cove we would chill and swim in!
Once we got out there we blew up the floats. Most importantly, the friendly unicorn Jorge or Bella, depending on the day and how she feels! It was so much fun! And it was huge. We could fit at least 2 maybe 3 kids on it!
We had another amazing, fun day out on the water!
I did some major jumps off the boat and it was lots of fun!
We also got to see a beautiful bald eagle! We didn't get a picture of it in mid flight but we saw it flying and it was really lovely!
And then, after all that fun, the sky started to get really threatening...
Time to head back to the marina and try and beat the storm!
We could barely see the Bay Bridge it must have been raining really hard over there!
We were so close! We were about to outrun the storm...and then the rain started pounding us! Daddy and Mrs and Mr Filburn stayed up top to try and get the windows up and some cover for them...
While we went down below and stayed safe and dry! It was nice and cozy down in the cabin and we got to just chill!
And when we were parked and the rain stopped we got to come up to see a beautiful rainbow above us!
Then we all got to help decorate the Filburn's boat for the 4th of July competition!
And we found out later that they WON first prize! We were so excited to know that we helped with the winning decorations!
Then we did a little crabbing off the boat and the dock before heading home.
It was a beautiful evening!
And on the way home we got to have a Royal Farms chicken picnic in our car! It was the perfect end to a perfect day on the bay!
