Today was a beautiful Saturday so we decided to head to Buddy Attic park and take a stroll around the Greenbelt Lake! First we had a little history lesson about the lake and park.

Then it was time to explore! The fall colors were abundant and we found some GIANT leaves!

We did some climbing and searching and there were so many leaves falling that we made a game out of catching them before they hit the ground!

We saw frogs and turtles and dragonflies...

And nice spots to stop and have a seat on a rock or two!

And a scary house all set up for a spooky Halloween. Boy was it creepy. They even had a dog that came growing out of a dog house. It scared us all thoroughly!

After our trek around the lake we settled down for a popeyes picnic! It was so much fun and super tasty! What a great way to spend a beautiful Fall Saturday!

Later Mama had an outdoor belated birthday celebration with some of her girlfriends. They had a beautiful beef burgundy dinner and charcuterie and salad and they hung out around the fire pit. It was a great Saturday!
