Today was another beautiful, warm day and we may have skipped out on a class or two to hit the beach!
The waves weren't big, there was no current, the water was semi warm and the sun was even warmer. It felt good to get our feet and hands in the sand for a little bit. And Daddy and Mama enjoyed reading their books while we played.
I waded as far as I was allowed out in the water while Jax and Finn built drip castles.
Then this little fluff ball came to play with us. I guess her owners didn't care because they never came to get her and she just hung out with us then went to hang out with Daddy...weird!
We did some more playing, Daddy and Mama let us stay out longer than we were supposed to but then we had to head back for our afternoon classes!
We were sad to leave the beach and head home to do school but Daddy and Mama promised us we could come back later and spend a whole day here over the weekend if the weather cooperates!
While we got back into our classes Mama did some painting on the screened in porch. She was happy!
Then we went back to the beach when school was over!! It was still a great day out and we started working on our mega sand castle!
Mama saw these pretty little flowers on the path to the beach. She couldn't resist taking a picture. They sure were cute!
We did a great job on our castles! It was hard work but Daddy helped us lift the giant buckets! I'm glad my music teacher made me bring that bucket as a drum, it works as a great sand bucket!!
For dinner Mama made us shrimp burgers with some of our North Carolina shrimp that we caught the last time we were here! Boy were they yummy. The tater tots were not bad either!
