Today we went out to explore the beach. It was quite windy and the waves were enormous and so scary! And the tide was so high that it made a shelf of sand on the beach. And the beach was so small! 

But it made for some serious fun making caves and playing in the sand!

   

                              

The sun was still warm and we got to enjoy some of the true beauty the beach had to offer...

                              

                              

                               

And all the lizards were so fun all week! These guys knew just the spot right next to the light fixture where all the bugs hang out! Must be why they were nice and fat!

                               

Later we went up to the shops to check out the ice cream spot we saw a few days ago. And it didn't disappoint! Yummy ice cream while sitting in the sun by the sound was A-okay with us!

                               

                               

Later that evening as the sun was setting I got to work on my paint by numbers. It was a lot harder than it looked!

But then it was time to go check out the beautiful sun set! There sure are beautiful sun sets in Duck!

                               

                               

And the waves still appeared to be pretty big and scary out on the beach through the houses!

Then it was time for an evening hot tub! We love the hot tub!
