Today Mama went to the new Kensington Market. They had beautiful fresh fish and meats and other prepared foods. It was empty but so clean and well stocked.

                              

And she brought home two tuna poke bowls to share. They were delicious!

After dinner we got to dig into our King Cake to celebrate Mardi Gras! It was SO good. The Woodmoor Bakery sure makes a king cake that can stand up to any we've had in New Orleans!

                               

We each picked the piece we wanted cut and got to enjoy our cake. YUM!

                                

                              

And I GOT THE BABY! I guess that means a year of good luck. And according to Finn I have to buy the King Cake next year...I'm okay with that!
