Our first stop was at Bob Evan's for breakfast. It was quick, easy and tasty, Then it was back on the road for us!
When we got to Cleveland the skies were looking scary so we headed for the science center. It's a good thing because the sky opened up as soon as we got inside! So we had fun running around and exploring with Nana and Papi and Mama and Daddy!
We even walked past the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame!
After the science center we dodged the sudden down pours and lightening and thunder and ducked in to Mabel's BBQ - Michael Simon's restaurant. And boy was it good! It was a meat-a-pallooza!
After Mabel's we did some walking around and more storm dodging. We thought about going to the Indians vs. Yankee's game but all that rain made is think better of that. So instead we ended up at a super yummy cupcake shop for some dessert!
After dessert we decided to head out of Cleveland, get a few hours up on our Chicago leg and drive to Toledo, Ohio for the night. We stayed at a hotel with a cool indoor pool. Mama thought she was going to die from the chlorine smell. We lasted in the water for about 40 minutes or so then we all got out so Mama could shower all the smell and germs off of us!
Then we had a little late night snack and drink in the bar/restaurant lounge. It was super nice and comfy and cozy! We had a fun night and it was a great place to stay for the night!
