Our first stop was Maggie Daley Park! And it was AWESOME!! It was free to get in and the park is right in the middle of the city! They had splash areas and pirate ships and climbing areas and HUGE slides and so much fun stuff to do!!
Miniature golf wasn't free but it sure was fun! We had a great time playing and it made everyone happy! Then we had some ice cream and did some serious swinging! It was so much fun. We walked past the rock climbing walls and the roller blading courses and then headed deeper into the city to take our boat tour!

Lots of tall buildings up ahead while we waited on our boat!
Finally on the boat. It was a great tour through the river checking out the buildings, hearing about the architecture and all of the other fun facts about the city. We got to see the train and some really cool looking buildings and sites. It was a great time. And it really took it's toll on Jax...it had been a long day with a lot of walking outside!

Later Mama let us hop in the tub. We sure needed to scrub down after all that walking around the city today!
Then Mama and Daddy headed to the wedding. Mama loved all the amazing architecture at the South Shore Cultural Center. That's where the wedding was and that's also where the Obama's were married! Such a beautiful spot, right on the beach of Lake Michigan and just a gorgeous venue!
Oh and the bride, groom and the bridal party weren't too shabby either!
While Mama and Daddy were at the wedding we got to go with Nana and Papi to find some real Chicago style pizza. It was HUGE and SO yummy!
Mama and Daddy had a nice time at the wedding and enjoyed being in such a special place!
