Today was another amazing day at the beach! We headed up to 17th street to spend the day on the beach with our friends. We did some digging and spishing and splashing and running around. We had a huge sand castle area and it was so much fun!



                                  

                                  

                                  







Then we joined the masses looking at the eclipse with our eclipse glasses!

                                  

                                  

And then we did some major swimming and splashing and boogie boarding!

                                  

                                  

                                  



                                  

                                  



Jax zonked out and missed most of the eclipse madness. But he got a nice, long rest!

                                 

                                   

But we all had fun seeing the moon covering the sun. It was amazing to see! And Mama even got a reflection of the sun on her lip by doing this selfie!! Look close!

                                  

                                  

                                 

When we got to our 80% coverage of the sun the sky had a weird color to it and the temperature dropped on the beach. It was pretty cool and weird at the same time!



When it was over we decided to head up to the pool to rinse off and have some fun! We did group water sliding and even the dad's joined us. It was so much fun! Then we all got changed and headed to De Lazy Lizard for some fun and dinner!

We sure are going to miss our friends the Bavaro's. When we got home our buddy Blaze was hanging out outside so we ran around and played with him a bit. Then we came inside and played some electronics before it was time to shut it down. We can't wait until tomorrow. We have  a feeling it's going to be another great day!
