Today is my BIRTHDAY!!! We spent the night in Nana and Papi's room last night since Mama and Daddy had the wedding to go to and this morning I woke up to everyone singing happy birthday to me! Then Mama and Daddy sang to me with a yummy looking cupcake! Then I got to open my presents and I even got a Minecraft light up potion bottle from Grandma and Granddaddy! Then I got to FaceTime with them! It was a great start to the day!

                                   

                                  

                                  

Then we were off to the Museum of Science and Industry! It was a HUGE building and it was really beautiful from outside and inside it was AMAZING!!





                                   

                                  



                                  



 There were so many amazing exhibits. So many cool things to explore and touch and see. We could have been there all day. Then we were getting awfully hungry so we headed downtown to the famous Chicago restaurant, Portillos! The sky was looking awfully daunting over Lake Michigan on our way there!

                                  

                                   



Once we got there we ordered all of the typical Chicago fare! A Chicago hot dog, a chili cheese dog, Chicago beef sandwiches, it wasn't a very healthy lunch but when in Rome! After lunch we headed back to the hotel and took a little dip in the pool. It was small but it was warm and clean and we had a ball running around, swimming and jumping in. And then another group of kids came and it was really crowded then!



                                  









We wanted to go out to dinner for Finn's birthday but we were all still full from our Chicago style lunch so instead we walked across the street from our hotel and had a little snack and dessert to celebrate Finn. It was fun and a good end to our trip. Now it's time for a good night's sleep for our long drive tomorrow...
