Happy Mardi Gras Y'all!

                                    

                                     

We started off on the other side of the French Quarter at Miss Liz and Mister Tom's friends condo. Holy moly it was pretty fancy for a second home! But it was so cool for us to check out. Then we headed out on the street to check out the Mardi Gras scene!

                                     

                                     

                                     

                                    

                                      

                                     

                                     

Then we hit the street. There were a lot of political satire costumes! And our family costume was a HUGE hit! We got so many compliments! And we loved being Pac Man and the ghosts!



                                    

                                   

There were so many people and costumes and sights and things! It was all just so cool!! Then it was time for a little break. So we headed to the playground up the street. What a great little oasis amidst the chaos!

                                     

                                     

                                     

                                     





After a nice play at the park we decided to head back out and do some more people watching and heading into the craziness of Mardi Gras!
          
                                    

                                     







                                     

                                     

                                   

                                     

It was an exhausting fun day full of walking and partying and playing but boy were we ready to head back to the house. We had a blast!





When we got home we played outside for a while and had a little bit of happy hour snacks. It was great. then we did some playing inside while Daddy got us all packed up for our trip home tomorrow. We sure will be sad to leave New Orleans. It's been a great week!
