We had a 2 hour delayed school opening because it was icy out this morning so after we dropped Kai and Finn off at school I got to go run a couple of errands with Mama. I also got to get some Mike and Ike's in the mall. My favorite!
When we got to school and I checked the schedule I saw that we had a birthday to celebrate in my class today! I couldn't wait!
It was the twins, Charlie and Camerons birthday today in my class. We got to have cupcakes! After school I played with some of my friends outside and then I gave them hugs and said goodbye. I'll miss them while I'm away on our trip to New Orleans!
Then Mama and I went to get our daily car wash...
Later I got to make my America's Test Kitchen Kids test recipe. It was for brown soda bread. It was pretty easy to put together and mix up. Mama let me do almost all of it myself. The butter milk and melted butter mixture kind of grossed me out but I followed the directions. Then we baked it up.
Mama made angel hair pasta with onions and chicken and it was SOOO good. We all ate it all up. It was super tasty! Even Jax ate all his dinner!
Then my bread came out of the oven. It was super yummy and tasted great warm with a pad of butter! I really enjoyed this recipe.
Then our buddy Michael and Miss Alyssa came over while Mama went to her final directory meeting. We played cards and had lots of fun during our short visit.
Then we did a little bit of playing with monster trucks before it was time for bed. Our costumes are really coming along!!
