The streets were already lined with ladders ready for tonights parades!
We had a nice, yummy breakfast at Refuel uptown. Then it was off to the French Quarter to do some exploring!
We made it to the French Quarter. And boy was it an amazing day! 74 degrees and sunny. Can't beat that!
We loved checking out the scene. Jackson Square and Lucky Dogs and the paintings and artists and street performers and sights and smells and people and decorations. We loved it all!!
FRENCH QUARTER SELFIE!
Rupert feet on Bourbon Street!
Then we hit Felix's for some crawfish and oysters. Everything was amazing and delicious!!! We really enjoyed the spice on our lips and how it made our whole mouths tingle. And the raw and char grilled oysters were so good! We loved it all!
Mama and Daddy are so impressed with how well we eat. They know it will come back to bite them when we're eating them out of house and home but they're really proud to share all of this yummy stuff with us and glad that we try it all and love it!
When we got back to the house we even attempted to jump in the pool. It was a tad chilly but we still made an attempt!
Then it was time for another night of parades and partying! When we got to the base house they had king cakes of every shape and size! But they all looked delicious to us!
Then it was out on the streets to do what we do apparently...
610 Stompers. Ordinary Men, Extraordinary Moves...
It was another fantastic night of fun and gathering loads of beads and toys. We just can't get enough!
When we got back to our friends house all the boys went upstairs to play some X-Box while the others played downstairs. It was such a fun night. Then we went home, had some king cake, showered the filth off of us and went to be! This town really takes it all out of ya!
