This morning Grandma called us and said, "we might be on Good Morning America". So we turned it on and who do you think we saw? Daddy, Granddaddy, Mister Chris and Miss Barbara. We couldn't see Grandma because she's too short...It was pretty cool to start the day seeing our family on tv!
Since Daddy had to get into work so early all of us got to go to my school this morning. I love when everyone takes me to school. And we all walked all the way to my classroom. And Mama even talked to Mrs. Birk for a long time!
After we dropped Kai off at school we headed to Trader Joe's. I think Jax wanted to get everything in the freezer into his belly so he pulled his shirt up to try to get it in there...We helped Mama put things in her cart and we even got to pick out a snack. I picked dried banana chips!
Then we went home to watch the "Popie", as Jax calls him, for a little while. It was really cool to see him at Daddy's work and in lots of places that we've been and that Daddy's at every day! It was a special time in DC!
After the Pope's address to Congress we decided to enjoy some of this beautiful day and we headed to North Four Corners Park. I refused to wear shoes. Mama tried and tried and I just would't do it. We're pretty sure the other parents there probably thought I was a little homeless child but that's okay. At least I was having fun and Mama says that we have to choose our battles, whatever that means...
When we got home we picked some more of our "carrots". They were teeny tiny but I sure did eat them all up and they were super yummy!
After school my friends Liam and Emmett got to come home with us! We were so happy. We played some Wii and some iPad. Finn helped Mama make some blondies that were SOOOO good! We had a snack-a-pallooza, we watched American Ninja Warrior on the iPad and we did Wrestle Mania in the bounce house (What has Mama's life become?). It was a super fun afternoon!!
After dinner Kai did his homework. Mama was super proud of him because he did such a nice job with all of his work. Poor little Finn must have been exhausted because he fell asleep on the couch and it was lights out for the rest of the night for him. He'll be well rested tomorrow morning!
Here are some amazing pictures that Daddy took at work today of Pope Francis' visit. We sure wish we could have been there. What a special day in DC.
