Later we got to help Mama put our shamrocks on the upstairs windows to decorate for St. Patrick's Day! We love helping Mama decorate!
Later we did a little playing outside then headed out on a family walk around the neighborhood. I was playing hide and go seek tree hugger with Daddy and Mama! And boy was it hot out! I insisted on wearing my sweatshirt but that was a mistake! I made Mama take that thing off quickly. We also came across a cactus. I made the mistake of picking a "dead" piece up off the ground. I also realized quite quickly that even though a cactus isn't still growing it does still have a defense mechanism and in this case it was little, teeny, tiny splinters that attached themselves all over my little hands! Thank goodness Mama got them all out. She even had to get the magnifying glass and tweezers out when we got home to make sure they were all gone. Those splinters were small but very painful. I will never, ever touch a cactus again!
Later when I got home from school it was time to head out and play with our buddies! We worked on our fort. We ran around, we played with weapons and cars. Daddy made a scavenger hunt for Finn and Jax. It was a great day!

Then we got a last minute invitation to the Stained Glass Pub so we went there to hang with our family for a little while, have some wings and pizza and enjoy the great night! It sure was a great day!
