This morning we all piled in Daddy's car to take Finn and I to vacation bible school because Mama's car is still in the shop. It's fun riding in Daddy's "rocket car"! We even got to rock out to some of our favorite songs.

I was happy that I got to go drop Kai and Finn off today. I wish I could go to "camp" too but I'm still a little guy. And Mama says you have to not wear diapers or have a passi if you want to go to school or camp!

After we dropped the big boys off I got to go with Mama and Daddy to the car dealership to pick up Mama's car. I was happy to be back in my seat in our car!

When Mama picked us up from St. Luke this afternoon we headed to down town Silver Spring. We got to have lunch at Potbelly sandwich shop. We Loved it!! Jax said it was "not bad", Kai said that he enjoyed his sandwich and mine because they had "good texture" and I said that it was my favorite new burger place and I can't wait until we come back with Daddy!

Then we headed to the library. We returned our books and then we got to pick out some new ones. We played around and I also got to lay back and read a couple of books too. We love going to the library!

When we got home our friend Liam came over to hang out with us. We played some Wii and iPad and then we did some bounce house and we even did a little dancing!

When Liam left the sky got really dark and then it started pouring...then it got really windy. Mama said we couldn't go to the back of the house in case a tree came crashing down. It rained so hard and was so windy that the rain was sideways. The big trees were sideways. And then it even poured on our front porch!! It does not rain on our front porch. Ever! And everything on our porch was drenched, including the front window, our mail box, our little yellow table and all of our toys! It was one powerful storm!

As the storm raged on Mama got done making dinner and then the power went out. But thankfully our generator clicked on. So we got to eat dinner in peace and air conditioning. Finn decided to eat dinner as a mix between Rosie the Riveter and a gang member and I went with Captain America. Mama and Daddy also felt like they needed to document the fact that I ate all my dinner tonight and even had seconds and thirds!! Then we did a little playing.

Then we decided to go for a family walk to check out the damage around the neighborhood. We met up with lots of our friends and neighbors out and about. There were lots of limbs and branched down. There was a live wire down on Lynnmoor. We saw lots of police cars driving around to make sure everyone was safe. Then we went to our neighbors, the Murphy's. A HUGE tree from our next door neighbor's, the Lott's yard, fell into the Murphy's yard busting up their fence, destroying their shed and then the following neighbor's fence. That was a mighty big and powerful tree. It's a good thing it didn't fall on their house or hurt anyone. We all sure are lucky! It was a quick but fierce storm we got.

When we got in from our excursion we got to have a bowl of ice cream with whipped cream and marshmallows. Today was a good day. We are lucky to all be safe and sound!
