We listened to the lifeguard who told us NO boogie boards and NO body surfing today!! Those waves were crashing too big and too hard into the shore! But he didn't say we couldn't get in that pretty warm, green water and in I went. Then Daddy and Finn joined me! It was great!!
Mama and I stayed securely on the shore where we made sand castles, which I destroyed, and moats and volcanoes and dug holes and made drip castles.
The only way Mama and Daddy got me to take a break from the surf...reading a book! What a great idea. Sitting under the umbrella with Grandma reading a book has become my second favorite thing to do at the beach!! It was awesome!
Then it was time for more playing in the sand and sun and surf. It did get a little over cast there for a bit but it sure was a good beach day.

After the beach we headed back to do a little pool time. That pool sure is nice and warm and just what the doctor ordered. We all took a nice little dip. Then it was time to head in and get ready for some dinner!
We made our way to Kirby's despite everyone being a little tired from our big day in the sun. We played some games, ate some dinner and then I crashed hard!
When we got back to the house Daddy put Jax up in his bed and we got to hang with our friend Blaze for a little while. We ran around and played swords and weapons. It was a lot of fun burning off some energy. And we even got to see an amazing sky out back. Another great day at the beach!
