This morning Mommy took us to the Audubon Naturalist Society in Chevy Chase to meet our friends Miss Lauren, Leighton and Elise. It was a cloudy day but it was perfect and warm. We got to play on the play equipment, we ran around, we played in the sand box and then we had a nice picnic lunch! Then we headed out for a little nature walk! Leighton showed us where the pond was. We looked for frogs but we didn't find any. We went exploring on the trails and we even saw a mama and two baby deer right in front of us! It was so cool and so much fun that we didn't want to leave. We can't wait to go back with Daddy so we can go on adventures and nature walks in the woods with him!















After nap time we played pillows and hung out in Mommy and Daddy's room. Then we went to check out the new restaurant in our neighborhood called Red Maple. It was super yummy. We had sushi. My brother Kai sure does love sushi, so does Mommy and Daddy. And I had some too and it wasn't too shabby! I also had rice and vegetables and everything was quite tasty. We had such a fun, family night out!
