This morning was so much fun! After breakfast Daddy, Mommy, Kai, Lucy and I all headed to the beach. It was really windy out but it was nice and sunny! We played in the sand and Kai had to get into that water...I guess I did too! Lucy jumped and played in the water and she tried to rescue the surfers that were trying to get in and swim. She sure is silly! It was so nice at the beach until a couple of dark clouds came in and made it chilly so we decided to head back to the house and take nice, warm, outdoor showers!!



               











After our beach adventure we went to down town Duck to check out the Jazz Festival. We walked along the main road and saw lots of cool things. We saw a horse statue decorated for Halloween. We saw some ghosts in a graveyard. We saw stores and restaurants and we got to see a super cool black and red fire engine!! The fireman even let me get inside and check it out. It was so neat.









Then we went to the jazz festival. It was fun for about, ohhh...7 minutes. Then I was bored. Imagine that! I walked around with Mommy and got some free candy and reusable bags (Mommy loves reusable bags!) and some other freebies, we listened to some music and then it was time to do some walking around. We walked all along the piers at the back of the shops and park area. We've never been there before and it was super cool. We saw some cool pine cone trees and some other crazy looking things out there. It sure was a fun day!!
