Today was a steamy, hot day. We all got our red, white and blue on and headed out for some neighborhood fun! We went to Pinecrest park and my brothers had popsicles. I just hung out and slept. Then we saw the neighborhood kids parade through the streets on their bikes and scooters. We also hung out with our friends Peal, Aidan and Rowan. It was an exciting morning.

              

               











Later we went to Nana and Papi's house for their 4th of July cookout. We ate some yummy food. Kai played some games that Aunt Marianna brought him and I did a lot of hanging out with Papi. I followed him everywhere he went. We were even dressed the same!













              

When it started getting dark we all waked up the street to see the fireworks at the middle school. We walked with all of our family and then we were so lucky because we ran into our friends Miss Megan, Mr. Patrick, Aidan, Miss Lara and Pearl on the way in!! So we all got to sit together and watch the show. Finn and I got a little scared when the really loud fireworks went off but we had a really fun time. There were so many fireworks and they were so bright and colorful. We loved it and we can't wait for next year's fireworks. We also got to go to sleep really late tonight. It was a really special occasion!!
