Today we went to meet Grandma at the National Arboretum to have an adventure! We saw cactus (even one's that looked like brains!!). Flowers, plants, trees, herbs and fruits and vegetables, peppers and so many cool things! We even saw a frog in the pond! He was so cute and playful! 

























We got to see the Capitol Pillars (which were actually part of the East front of the Capitol from 1861 - 1958!! then moved to the Arboretum). We got to check out the children's garden and we got to collect lots of acorns for Finn's classroom! We got to see the bonsai tree exhibit and there were even planters made out of old Gatorade bottles!



                 

                  

















                  







                 



       



                 



                  



After school we came home, we had a snack, changed clothes, then headed to Cabin John park to ride the "boo train". We met our friends Miss Lauren, Leighton and Elise there! We had so much fun doing the Halloween scavenger hunt! After the super cool train ride we got to color pictures and then we got to go play in the park for a little while with our friends. After playing for a while we headed to the Pub to meet our family. Then Daddy showed up. we were so happy to see him! We had fries and wings. We went to the laundromat with Papi to get bouncy balls out of the vending machine and we had a blast! What a fun and busy day!
