Today we woke up to a rainy morning but that's okay, I was happy to go to school because it's Friday and because I get to go to my friend Samuel's house for a play date after school today!!
While Kai was at school Jax and I went with Mama and Grandma to the Barn Show. We looked at all kinds of boring furniture and some really fun looking decorations too. There was even a whole row of old rocking horses! We got to have pretzels and candy. It wasn't half bad!
After the Barn we headed to Homestead Gardens to check out all the fun stuff there. Can you believe that they were already setting up their Christmas displays? They also had tons of fun toys to look at and some awesome Halloween displays. We say a haunted house and a creepy pirate ship. We even checked out the huge Koi fish in the pond. It was a fun adventure!
When we went to Grandma's house Jax did some dishes and then we went to see Mister Chris' fish. We ran into Mister Chris and Miss Barbara on our way back to the house and then we did a little playing until the rain drops started falling on us! I got to help Grandma make some blondies and boy did they turn out great!
Later we even got to see Granddaddy because we didn't have to rush home to pick Kai up from school. It was a fun surprise!
Later Mama helped set up the Snack Shack at my school and then she came to pick me up from Samuel's house to go get ready for soccer practice. As we were driving home from Samuel's house the sky was getting darker and darker. As soon as we got home it started thundering and lightening and pouring down rain...soccer practice cancelled!! So instead we had BLT's for dinner and watched the Speed Racer movie. It was still a great night!
