I was looking forward to school today because we have art today! Jax came with Mama to take us to school and he saw all his friends. Sometimes I think Jax is more popular at St. B's than Kai and I are!!



                          

                          

Here is one of our only standing sunflowers. It sure is pretty but it won't last long...

                          

Then I got to go to Grandma's house with Mama! And I was so happy because Colby was there!!! We played and ran around. Grandma and I played cards and then Uncle Jon came to get Colby so I got to visit with him too! Then I got super sleepy so it was time to go. When we got home from school we had a snack, I did my homework, we did a little playing then it was time to head to DC to the Verizon Center to meet up with Daddy and go to our very first hockey game! Uncle Jason gave us tickets to the World Cup hockey game - Sweden vs. Europe. We were SO excited. And Finn got to bring his class mascot, Hootie, with us!

                         

                         

                          

                          

I had fun taking Hootie on our adventure to DC! It was Hootie's first hockey game too! We like seeing China Town and the Verizon Center and the hockey game and the zambonies! I had a ton of fun too! It was really exciting going to our first hockey game. We can't wait to come back again! We got to have snacks and drinks and walk around the concourse. We saw some of the cool awards and displays about the Bullets/Wizards and the Capitol's. We hung out with some cheerleaders who gave us each key chains and we got to run wild at the Verizon Center. We even got to check out one of the super cool Chinese restaurants with the Peking Ducks hanging in the window. The woman in the window was making dumplings. I hope we can come back another time and eat at this place for sure!!
