Then all the cousins hung out downstairs and outside and inside and out front and we did some hide and seeking and some coloring and playing with cars and junk food eating and just plain old having a great time. It was so fun to run around with our cousins, MeMa and Pop Pop today!
After hanging at MeMa and PopPop's house we headed over to Calverton Swim Club for the last day of the pool! It was the annual Calverton Swim Club Family Fun Day!! They sure know how to do it up. There was a water slide, a moon bounce, an inflated obstacle course, popcorn, cotton candy, a DJ, games...It was such a great day. We swam and played on the Pirate ship and playground. It was such a beautiful day and a great way to spend the very last day of summer! Calverton Pool is really a perfect place and the best pool we've ever been to. We wish we could pick it up and put it in our neighborhood then it would be perfect!!
When we got home we decided to pick some of our corn since it looks like it's just dying on the stalk and not getting very big. The yellow corn was dried up but the purple and multicolored corn looked decent, it's just too small and probably doesn't taste too good. We're not taking any chances. It was a good first try for corn. We're hoping for better luck next year!
Then we had our Lombardi's pizza, lasagna and calamari for dinner. YUM! We love Lombardi's pizza!!
Then we took a family walk with our Lucy!
And after our shower we facetimed with Grandma and Nana and Papi! We miss them all so much! We love talking to them when we can see them!
