When we got home we checked out our watermelon and decided it was time to pick the big one!! We were really excited. Mama cut into it right away. It was a little mealy looking in the very center, we left it on the vine a tad too long, but it tasted pretty good! It was a nice sweet watermelon from our very own garden!
Then our buddy Joseph came over and helped us do a super speedy team cleanup of our downstairs play room!
Then Joseph's family invites us to go to the very last day of their pool with them! So while Mama was cleaning and organizing at home the boys headed to the pool to cool off on the last of the summer days...
Mama got our upstairs playroom cleaned up, reorganized and put together so she took some pictures to make sure it will stay this way! Or at least she'll have the memories of it looking so good in case it doesn't last.
Then Mama came to join us for a little fun in the sun on the last day of Northwest Branch's pool. We had a great time swimming and playing. It's been a great summer. No more pool days make it really officially...Fall is on the way!
Then, Northwest Branch Pool does something awesome, after the last kids swim of the season they do a "Doggie Dip" and let your pooch take a swim in the pool. I bet Lucy would have loved it. All the doggies that showed up seemed to really enjoy it. All the members enjoyed it too. It was really cute watching all the doggy paddling going on!
Then Mama went out to grill our dinner...with 6 deer right in our back yard and with no concern with Mama. Mama thinks deer sure are cute but we don't want them getting too close with all of their deer ticks and others...
Then MeMa and PopPop stopped by for a quick visit to say hello. We were really happy to see them!
